01 / The problem to solve
What the page needed to do.
HowieBins covers a wide spread of work (junk removal, bin rentals, dump runs, estate cleanouts, demolition and property cleanup) across Norfolk County, Oxford County, Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg.
That breadth is a strength in the truck and a problem on a website. Visitors need to find their exact job fast, and Google needs to see a clear, separate signal for each service and each town.
02 / The approach
What the work focused on.
Discovery and the original concept: who calls, what they need, and what makes them pick up the phone, turned into a site plan the owner could react to before anything was built.
Information architecture built around a single question on the homepage, “Which service are you in need of?”, with a dedicated page for each service and a Locations section for each town served.
A conversion path with two exits on every screen: the phone number and a “Fast Quote” form, both in the header.
An iterative build. Pages, wording and layout were reviewed with the owner as they went live, using feedback to refine the wording and layout.
