Spell out each kind of clean

A “clean” means different things to different customers, and most complaints come from that gap. Give each service its own clear description: a recurring clean, a deep clean and a move-in or move-out clean. For each, list what is included room by room, and name the common extras, such as inside the oven, inside the fridge, interior windows or laundry.

A clear checklist does two things. It sets expectations before the first visit, and it lets a customer compare you fairly with a cheaper quote that quietly covers less.

Be straight about price

Angi’s 2026 data, based on nearly 99,000 jobs, puts the national average for a standard house cleaning at $176, with most visits between $118 and $238, and deep and move-out cleans costing more. Your prices will depend on the home and the area. Say what drives them: square footage, bedrooms and bathrooms, how often you come and the condition on the first visit. If the first clean costs more than the recurring ones, say so up front.

Answer the trust questions

Letting a stranger into your home is a big step, and customers will look for answers before they call:

  • Who will come? The same cleaner each time, or a rotating team?
  • How do keys, lockboxes and alarm codes work?
  • What about pets?
  • Do you bring supplies, or use the customer’s? Can they request specific products?
  • What happens if something gets broken? Are you insured? Only say what is true.

Seasonal homes and rentals

Sarasota and Venice have plenty of homes that sit empty part of the year and vacation rentals that turn over every week. If you handle pre-arrival cleans, rental turnovers or checks on empty homes, give them their own section. Owners who live out of state are searching for exactly that, and they need to know how you’ll report back.
